Life jackets for passengers?
PA Auckland The possibility of passengers in amphibian aircraft wearing lifejackets during take-offs from or landings on water will be examined by the Civil Aviation Division. The suggestion has come after an investigation by the Office of Air Accidents into an amphibian accident on the Waitemata Harbour last December, in which a person was drowned.
