PA Auckland A delighted Monique Rodahl, of North Shore, broke one Of her own national swimming records at the Cameron Pool on Saturday — giving her an impressive milestone in her bid to make a swimming comeback. In the women’s 100 m backstroke, Miss Rodahl was

strongly challenged by another national representative swimmer, Andrea Hawcridge, also of North Shore, but managed to open up a decisive gap during the final 25 metres of the event.

Her winning time was Imin 6.ssec — o.9sec under her own record set four years ago.
