Postal increases
Postal services will cost more after next week’s Budget, with some charges increasing by more than 10 per cent, reports the Press Association from Auckland. The Postmaster-General (Mr Couch) said last night that the Budget would contain across-the-board increases for all postal services in spite of a record profit of S3OM estimated for the Post Office this year.
