The Embassy Hotel will close at 11 p.m. next Friday, June 22. Applications for the closing were granted yesterday at the annual meeting of the Canterbury Licensing Committee when it made its an(nual review of liquor lijcences. in the district. ( The committee granted the I closing for the next 12month term of the licence, but its members were advised that demolition of the building had already begun.
