Clearly the corporation plays a vitally Important part in maintaining the economic health of New Zealand. Growth has been rapid and turnover now exceeds S5O million with approximately 80 staff located between Wellington and Taranaki. Further gas exploration and exploitation, continuing by product development and new projects such as the ammonia urea plant based on the utilisation of natural gas will result in substantial growth for the client. Hence the need tor these new positions. Senior Mechanical Engineer — Within the project section reporting to the Project Engineer with broad responsibilities covering: the design work associated with projects including high pressure process equipment and piping, making submissions to government for process plant, preparing contract documents for tender purposes, evaluating tenders, preparing estimates, programmes and periodic performance reports for projects and performing varied investigative and maintenance duties. Applicants should have experience in mechanical design, the use of or familiarity with high pressure codes for piping, welding, vessel design and process plant design, and familiarity with a project management environment. Qualifications sought — Registered Mechanical Engineer or alternatively graduate engineers with suitable experience Senior Instrument Engineer - Is responsible for the design and specification of all instrumentation and controls and will recommend all tenders associated with instruments. The incumbent will organise all preventative maintenance programmes for instruments on existing and future facilities and will ensure such programmes procedures are implemented and operational records maintained. It is anticipated the incumbent will be heavily involved in vetting, checking and commissioning instrumentation for the ammonia urea fertiliser complex.
