MARKETING MANAGER (PROCESSED FOODS - INTERNATIONAL) A large South Island Company requires a dynamic Marketing Manager to expand - their already well established processed foods division, overseas as well as in New Zealand. DUTIES: This is an appointment which requires a high level of management skill as well as marketing expertise. Because of the special requirements for the development of products to fit specific markets the appointee is expected to be knowledgable in both market research and product management. He will need to have an innovative approach to his duties and the capacity to follow through from concept to final market acceptance. Strong emphasis is placed on requirements of the overseas markets and he will be responsbile for actively servicing overseas customers and ensuring that products meet clients requirements. He will be expected to expand and develop sales of established lines. QUALIFICATIONS: It is expected that applicants will have had some years experience in food marketing as well as in active product development and promotion. Although not essential it would be advantageous if applicants could show that they have had some tertiary qualification in marketing or allied disciplines. They must have the personal qualities to become competent all round managers. SALARY: The Company is looking for a very .special man who can accept the challenge of developing the multi-national operations of this company. They will pay accordingly.
