Milk Board retirement
PA Wellington The Milk Board’s general manager (Mr R. D. Williams) will retire at the end of June. The latest issue of the board’s journal, “Town Milk,” says that Mr Williams, who has been general manager since June, 1974, will be succeeded by the assistant general manager (Mr J. MacPherson). Mr Williams has been with the board since it was established in 1953.
Mr MacPherson joined the board in 1962 as chief investigating accountant and became the board’s secretary in the same year.
