Witnesses sought
The Christchurch police want to hear from anyone who saw a hit-and-run accident at the intersection of Moorhouse Avenue and Selwyn Street early on Sunday, June 3.
They also want to hear from anyone who has seen a 1957 pale blue Vanguard station waggon with extensive damage to its front-left side. A police spokesman said that the station waggon had apparently gone through a red light on Selwyn Street and had collided with another car on Moorhouse Avenue.
No-one was injured in the accident, which happened just after midnight.
