Backlog cleared
The backlog of passengers on Air New Zealand’s domestic service, which was grounded in Christchurch on Wednesday because of fog and an aircraft malfunction, was finally cleared yesterday afternoon.
The last 50 passengers still waiting left on a special Boeing flight at 3.30 p.m., a spokesman said. Regular flights cleared most of the backlog.
