House sold for $34,000
A three-bedroom weatherboard house in Papanui was sold by auction yesterday for $34,000. The property, at 98 Watford Street, has a Government valuation (1974) of $28,000. A spokesman for N. H. McCrostie and Company, the auctioneers, said bidding was spirited from a big crowd.
