PARLIAMENT
The annual report of the State Services Commission was tabled when Parliament sat yesterday afternoon. Members presented six notices of motions. Ministers answered 19 questions. The Unit Titles Amendment Bill was given a first reading and referred to the Statutes Revision Committee. The House adjourned on a motion of Mr R. L. Bailey (Lab., Heretaunga) for an urgent debate on broadcasting, which continued until tire dinner adjournment. The Guardianship Amendment Bill was given a first reading and refined to the Statutes Revision Committee. The Auckland War Memorial Museum Bill was put through its committee stages and given a third reading before the House rose at 10.30 p.m.
