Overseas tours

The New Zealand soccer team will undertake an eight-day, four-match tour of New Caledonia and Fiji at the end of this month. The tour will be used as a buildup to the return game with Australia in mid-August, All four matches on the tour, which was approved by the council yesterday, will be full internationals. The team will leave on June 25 and that evening will play the first of two matches against New Caledonia in Noumea, the second being played two days later.
