PA Hobart | The Tasmanian premier; Mr Douglas Lowe) yester-' jay indicated he would’ ipeak to the Federal Prime Minister (Mr Malcolm Fraler) about the proposed Tasmania-New Zealand air tervice.
After a meeting in Hobart, Knsett’s assistant general nanager (Mr Edward Forlester) said the Premier had told him he believed there'
was undue delay in Federal Government clearance of 'tile proposed services. Both domestic airlines— Ansett and Trans Australia I Airlines—have af-lied to ' run Hobart-Christchurch services.
Mr Forrester said the company had applied for the new service two months ago but little progress had been ‘made.
