Electricity workers
Sir, — On May 25 you printed a letter by William Johnson in which he claims to have observed an employee of the New Zealand Electricity Division using an official car for personal shopping in the Riccarton area. I give your readers an absolute assurance that misuse of official vehicles is not tolerated by this division and if Mr Johnson is able to supply me with more specific details I will have his allegations promptly investigated. — Yours, etc., H.
