Greymouth reporter Parts of the wreckage of a red Morris or Austin 1300 car recovered from the sea at the foot of Perpendicular Point, on the GreymouthWestport highway, have been sent by the Greymouth police to Timaru for further identification. The police believe it to be the red Morris 1300 which [was driven by Cecil Stanley Paul, aged 75, a widower, of Pleasant Point, South Canterbury, who has been reported missing. Mr Paul was known to have left Timaru to travel to the West Coast to visit friends at Granity. ■ The police have now established that Mr Paul spent the night of April 23 at the Greymouth Seaside Motor Camp, before travelling north. Nothing has been heard of him since.
