Israeli shelling
NZPA-Reuter Beirut Israeli and Right-wing Lebanese gunners have renewed artillery attacks on targets in Lebanon, in the wake of a big Israeli incursion into the south of the country, Palestinian officials have reported in Beirut. The Palestinian news agency, W.A.F.A., said the latest artillery attack was a bombardment around the Palestinian-Lebanese Leftist strongholds of Arnoun and Nabatiyeh, north of the Litani River.
The latest hostilities came after a tense day in volatile south Lebanon during which 400 to 500 Israeli troops accompanied by
Rightist militiamen tent porarily seized the village q Shaqra in a United Nation* controlled area.
