Talks on Miller’s
Talks were held between the management of Miller’s Ltd, and officials of the Canterbury Trades Council yesterday about the company’s plans to close its main retail outlet in Christchurch in July, making about 60 workers redundant. The vice-president of the Trades Council (Mr H. McCrory) said that the talks would continue today.
