Optimism over lamb trade
PA Wellington The New Zealand Meat Board is optimistic that NewZealand's severed lamb trade with Iran will be restored.
A Meat Board spokesman said in Wellington yesterday, that the board could say no more than that it was hopeful because it was still awaiting the report of its representative who had accompanied the Iranian delegation on its New Zealand tour.
“In any case, tne outcome will depend on what the Iranian delegation says in its official report to the Iranian Meat Organisation, which is a State body,” the spokesman said.
