Hockey successes
PA Brisbane The New Zealand primary schoolboy hockey team, timing Queensland scored two of its best wins in south-east Queensland this week.
On Tuesday the New Zealand Schoolboys scored at will to beat Warwick 20-nil at Warwick and then the following day beat Toowoomba 14-nil at Toowoomba. Scores: New Zealand 20 (G. Clark 7, T. Cuthbert 5, N. Strawbridge 3, I. Kake 2, M. Siemonic, S. Hobson, P. Brasting J.) v Warwick nil. New Zealand 14 (M. Siemonic 7, T. Cuthebert, S. Kennedy 2, P. Patel, G. Flynn, G. Clark 1) v. Toowoomba nil.
