New pool popular
About 125,000 persons have been through the new thermal pool complex at Hamner Springs, the pool’s management committee was told recently. The pool manager, (Mr F. King) has several improvements planned for the complex and he hopes to have these finished soon, including improvements to the entrance and ticket foyer to speed the flow ot patrons. Mr C. Mclvor, was reelected chairman of the management committee. Committee inembers are Mrs A. Everitt, Messrs P. Ensor, G. Chapman, I. Richardson with ex-officio members being two Amuri County Councillors (Mrs M. Heard, Mr L. Carter), the pool manager (Mr King), the County Clerk (Mr B. J. Peters), and the County Engineer (Mr C. J. Smale).
