Horses loaded at Lyttelton
The Unity Reefer sailed from Lvttelton on Wednesday' with nine horses and 1322 tonnes of meat on board The departure was delayed while modifications were made to the three horse boxes The ship will load another 12 horses at Auckland. Two stockmen are accompanying the horses to Japan where they will be used for recreation activities. This is the first time horses have been loaded at Lyttelton for more than a vear.
