Ind. Chemicals talks about new products
PA Aucklaß Fears that “a false mat ket” might be created in th shares of Industrial Chera icals NZ, Ltd, prompted th company to issue its “don' sell” warning to shard holders yesterday. The managing director a Industrial Chemicals (Mr P K. Brown), said that th company was having prelim inary discussions with { couple of listed companies These were of a commercii nature, rather than financial and were to do with the in troductions of new produd lines.
Mr Brown said that “up fortunate rumours” had pil the company in an unusua situation, and on legal ad vice the statement was madl to clear that up. The share price seemei high at 180 c, and therefort focused attention on thj company, and the di» cussions which might nol come to anything, he said. Shareholders could exped a further statement in about two weeks, Mr Brown said.
