Writing award
A Wellington journalist, Belinda Gillespie, has won the 1979 health journalism award, sponsored by the Pharmaceutical Manufacturers’ Association of New Zealand.
Mrs Gillespie, who is on the staff of .the “National Business Review,” has written widely about health, and won the award with an article. on the health and economic benefits achieved by modern medicines.
The runner-up for the award was Wayne Munro, with a four-part series of articles in the Auckland “Eight O’clock” on cancer treatment at the Auckland Hospital.
