Brave water polo

Though eventually succumbing to superior age, size, and experience. the Canterbury schoolboys’ water polo team last evening participated in one of the best and most fluid games of the national championships at Wellington. Wellington won the match and the title, 9-3, but it was no dlsSjce for the basically under-15 nterbury team which played its full part in a match warmly applauded at the conclusion. It was in stark contrast to the 5-7 loss to Auckland in the morning, an inconsistently controlled game with one of the referees not nationally graded.
