PA Wellington The women’s division of Federated Farmers will meet in Hamilton from June 25 to June 29 for its fifty-fourth annual confci ence, to be opened by the veteran trade unionist, Sonja Davies.
Remits to be discussed range from one from Te Puke calling for bars to close between 4.30 p.m. and 6.30 p.m. for a dinner break, to one from Waikato asking for an investigation into farm workers having to sit examinations in November, "one of the busiest months of the farming year.”
