World basketball results
NZPA Seoul South Korea beat Australia 76-72 in the final round of the eighth world Women’s Basketball Championship here today. The Koreans led 38-36 at halftime. In another match of the final round, the United States beat Japan 84-65 after leading 39-22 at half-time.
