Threat charge
A woman has been charged with threatening to kill a male social worker after an incident at the Bishopdale Community Centre last evening. The police took possession of a knife after they were called to the centre about 5.30 p.m. A police spokesman said
the social worker had grappled with the woman, but had escaped injury. The woman, aged 25, will appear in the Magistrate’s Court this morning charged with assault and threatening to kill. No policemen or other persons who were in the community centre were injured.
