Theft victim home for Christmas
NZPA Auckland A Niuean boy who had his plane ticket stolen on Mon-; day will return to Niue this ■ morning on a Polynesian Airlines flight. The return of the boy, Bert Jessop, aged 12, to Niue was in doubt after his airline tickets and travel documents, including his passport, were stolen. However, one of the sales staff at the airline helped him to get an identity card and the airline manager reissued a ticket enabling him to be home by Christmas. Numerous offers of financial help for the boy were received. including one woman who volunteered to pay for it all. Bert Jessop thanked all those persons for their kindness.
