Perrott wins
NZPA s.vdney Rebecca Perrot (New Zealand) was out front again at the Australian K.B.S. Games swimming in Sydney last night. She won the women’s 1<)0m freestyle and 200 m i ndividual medley in limes of 58.465ec and 2nnn 25.985eu. Melanie Jones (New Zealand) was third in the women's 200 m backstroke behind two Australians, Lisa Forrest and Debra Foster. Mark Tonelli, one of three sent home from the Australian team's training camp before ’he Edmonton Cornmonw ealth Games, competed in open company for the firsi time since his “sacking” last July last night. He showed he had lost none of his touch in winning the !00m backstroke and finishing second in the 200 m freestyle.
