Imitation firearm charge
A man will appear tn the Magistrate's Court this morning on a charge of possessing an imitation firearm without lawful purpose, after an incident at a Salisbury Street party last night. The police were called to an address in Salisbury Street after they were informed that a firearm had been discharged at a party theret. A cordon was thrown round the block, from Park Terrace to Montreal Street, but when the nolice entered the house at 11.40 p.m., only an imitation pistol was found. The man in possession of the pistol was arrested.
