Convulsions after drug-taking
PA Auckland .. ■ Five persons have been admitted, to the Auckland Hospital-suffering from convulsions and hallucinations after taking a synthetic drug i known as DMA. . They say the drug has been circulating in Auckland since the David Bowie concert on December 2. The police have made several seizings of the drug throughout New Zealand in the last fortnight. DMA is described as a cousin to LSD but having less predictable results when taken. The five admitted to hospital within the last 10 days are reported to have been discharging themselves.
