THREE RANKED
Canterbury has three representatives in the latest national badminton ranking lists, announced by the convenor of the selection panel (Mr Don Higgins) recently. Peter Whiting gains his highest placing. sixth, having moved up three places from last year and four places from 1976. Dianne Erikson is ranked seventh in the women's list, while Alison Ross continues her rise by moving into third place. Miss Erikson was tenth last year while Miss Ross has moved up one place in each of the last four years.
