Park’s future for review
Long-term planning for Lancaster Park will be studied by a special working group, set up by the Victory Park Board. The group will look into the needs of present sports tenants, the possibilities of other tenants, and the development, financing, and use of facilities.
Three board members (Sir Ronald Scott and Messrs R. W. Thomas and D. J. Liken) and three nonmembers (Professor H. J. Hopkins and Messrs B. Lovell-Smith and A. I. R. Jamieson) make up the group, which will submit its report by June 30, 1979.
