Warning on pets
The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals has issued its annual holiday plea to owners of pets not to leave their animals locked in cars without ventilation, food and water. The president-chairman of the S.P.C.A. (Mr M. G. Coulbeck) said the Christ-
mas holiday period was traditionally one where people went out. and enjoyed themselves and left their animals to fend for : themselves sometimes with ' tragic results. “We always have prob- | lems about this time of | year” he said “and in some I years it has been quite ; bad.”
