PA Wellington New Zealand’s wool stockpile was 143,565 : bales at October 31. this year, according to “Woolnews,” issued by the Wool Board. ' The season started at July 1 with a stock of 194,523 bales. Since then purchases have been 4226 bales, shipments 898 bales, and sales 52,720 bales. A reduction in scouring has i accounted for 1566 bales. The board is also hold- ! ing 6301 bales in Britain. i
