Eight hurt in car collisions
Three persons were admitted to Christchurch Hospital after two cars collided; at Church Corner, Riccarton, jabout 10.20 last evening. (One person suffered multiple; ! fractures, including broken . i legs, and the other two; 'suffered minor injuries. ; Two ambulances attended : and a fire appliance was; called to deal with a petrol spillage,' caused when one of the cars rolled over. The ambulance and fire, services were kept busy! with two other accidents an hour later. Two persons suffered minor injuries after jtwo cars collided at the in-l 'tersection of Colombo Street!
