Wrestling trip beckons
Six Canterbury boys have been chosen to participate in trials which will be a prelude to a wrestling tour of the United States next April.
The New Zealand Amateur Wrestling Union is planning the tour under a cultural-ex-change agreement with the Amateur Athletic Union of the United States.
Fifteen boys will go on the trip and the positions will be keenly contested by 35 young wrestlers in the Skellerup Hall today. The Canterbury boys taking part will be Bede Christani, David Hood, Adrian IMo th, Wayne Tewnion, Tony ! Francis, and David Andrews.
