Freight rate rise
Shipping freight rates for meat to Japan, Korea, Okinawa and Guam will rise 2.5 per cent from January 1, 1979. The increase was announced after talks between the shipping committee of the Meat Board and representatives of the New Zealand eastern Shipping Committee and the .J Laurityen Line.
