’Alternative' drinks
Suitable alternative drinks should be available at all social functions where alcohol is served, says a news release from the Christchurch branch of the National Council of Women. When they met for their November meeting, delegates expressed concern about the failure of many hosts and hostesses to provide alternative drinks. They agreed to advise their own organisations that care should be taken to ensure that non-alcohol-ic drinks were readily available at all social functions where alcohol is served.
