Payroll theft
PA Auckland A Christchurch man was charged with the $33,768 Ponsonby Post Office training centre payroll snatch when he appeared in the Magistrate’s Court at Auckland yesterday. Henry John Laufutu, aged 20, unemployed, was remanded in custody to December 15 for a depositions hearing. Mr B. H. Blackwood, S.M., refused an application for bail.
