PA Invercargill What is black and white and "red” all over? A cow with “Vote Labour” written on both flanks.
The black cow, with the illegal advertising in white paint along each flank, was removed from a paddock beside the Riversdale polling booth on Saturday by the local policeman, Constable L. Dickie. He shifted it to another paddock, out of sight of the polling booth—where it would not annoy the “grass roots” of the other parties.
