A movie camera which can focus from infinity to nil, and thus take infocus pictures of objects almost touching the lens, has been announced by a German company. Objects one centimetre in size can be filmed to fill a normal home-movie screen, and the Swiss-made lens can also zoom to a six-power telephoto view.
