Quiet market firmer
Australian share markets continued the slight recovery yesterday. Trading in Westfield shares continued unabated.' but the volume of sellers pushed the price back to 814 c for a 16c fall. Other property developers turned mixed. BHP continued to improve as investors paid 10c more I for the share to 838 c. Banking issues also im-' proved marginally, led by the Bank of NSW, which rose 8c to 648 c. Pioneer Concrete rose 6c, to 152 c, Bundaberg Sugar! gained 5c to 330 c and TNT firmed 3c to 121 c. Diamond stocks were led by Northern Mining which rose 7c to 125 c, and Carr: Boyd which gained 6c to 39c,
