Award for glassblower
John Penno,, a glass blower from the University of Otago, has received a technical training award from the Rotary Foundation to study abroad next, year.
The South Island district is looking for young men and women to study abroad in 1980-81 as technical training awardees, teachers of the Handicapped, and journalists. Persons interested in the awards should apply to their local Rotary club before March 1 next year. More than 1600 yourg people throughout the world are at present on Rotary Foundation educational awards and participating in the foundation’s group study exchange programme next year at a cost of SUSIO.JM.
