W. Hokai injured
PA Rotorua. \ jockev, Wayne Hokai. was taken to Rotorua Hospital with possible head injuries after a bad fa!] in the S E. Carr Memorial Handicap at the Rotorua Racing Chib's meeting on Saturday. Hokai fell heavily when Royal Bourbon came down 200 m after the start of the race and the jockey was hit by several horses. Roger Verry fell from Cornelius in the same incident Royal Bourbon d’ed on the track Hokai suffered a broken collarbone. and possibly other injuries.
