Pakistanis criticised
PA Auckland Mr Owen Emslie. an international squash promoter, yesterday criticised the absence from the national open at North Shore of two leading Pakistanis. A South African, Mr Emslie said he would raise the matter at an important meeting in Singapore next month. “Something has got to be done about such a situation,” said Mr Emslie during the opening matches of the New Zealand Conifer Grove open. “L obtained a firm assurance from three officials, all closely associated with the Pakistanis, that Gogi Alauddin, Mohibullah
Khan and Hiddy Jahan would be playing in this tournament.” Meanwhile eight seeds yesterday won in straight games.
