Recovery centre
A board of trustees has been set up by the Society of St Vincent de Paul to raise and allocate funds for an alcoholic-recovery centre. The trustees will work as individuals, the society playing a supportive role because members of the society are not allowed to raise money themselves. The board’s first fundraising venture is a raffle which will close on November 13. Those interested in buying or selling tickets for this may telephone 524-986 or 849-479 in the evenings.
