Sir, — Thank God, for people like Hugh K. Gaw for 1 answering a letter on homo- 1 sexuals and their treatment. s I know well a pair of so- t called Gays. It is a good ' title for them. They are/ ( happy, generous, minding., their own business. They I i live in a small village in. < East Anglia, from where i| 1 have just come to live ini Christchurch. I write toll them as friends and think of j: them as “David and Jona- j than.” This couple of whom, I, an old woman, am proud, to be a friend, have had to J move out of the village to a j lonely house which they have made beautiful. This, to! ger away from the cruel,; gossiping, “minding other! peoples business” people in; jthe village, who seem to| i enjoy causing unhappiness. > [Varian J.
