Socialism
Sir, — I do not think W. E. Woods (October 17) should try to equate politics with religion by taking an isolated quote from the Bible to substantiate a personal contention. The Bible is crowded with ludicrous contradiction and, were I so minded, I could quote the parable of the gold coins as positive proof that Jesus w’as an ardent supporter of Capitalism. Let your correspondent rpread Luke 19 (11 to 27) taking particular note of verse 27. — Yours, etc, ARTHUR MAY. October 17, 1978.
