Last chance lost
Rangers almost certainly lost its chance to win the Broadlands Southern League soccer competition when it was convincingly beaten. 4-0,. by Dunedin City on Saturday.
Rangers now has 22 points from 17 matches; City,. Caversham. and Western all have 21 points from 15.
All Dunedin’s four goals came in the first half; Carl Steele and Steve Woodin scored twice each.
Steele scored the first from a bad defensive error, Woodin the second with a fine individual effort, Steele the third after half an hour with a powerful header, and Woodin the final goal just before half-time.
